A Note from Lindsey
It all started with…one idea.
Hi there, I’m Lindsey Smith—Leechburg native and long-time lover of books. In addition to being the owner of One Idea Books & Gifts, I am also an award-winning author and literary agent.
This Market Street property has always been a favorite of mine. I practically grew up next door at my family's business, Chuck Smith Flooring. Yes, the late Chuck Smith is my amazing dad, and the shop lives on through the steadfast dedication of my mom, Debbie Smith.
In all honesty, I had no intention of this happening. Opening a spot like this felt out of reach…until it wasn’t. With the overwhelming community encouragement and support, I was able to purchase this space. A space that has always felt like home.
And now there’s an opportunity to continue to build something that is truly community-made and will be passed down to the community for decades to come. My team and I would love for you to help make this a reality.
With your support, this is possible. Thank you!
